The Reverend Arlene Lukas has accepted the call of the Vestry of Grace Church In The Mountains to be their new rector. Rev. Lukas is presently serving as Assistant Rector at St. Augustine's, Wilmette,Ill. She previously had served as Assistant Rector at St.Philip's in Brevard,NC. Arlene is delighted to return to North Carolina and to serve at Grace Church. Rev. Lukas will assume her duties as rector at Grace Church on August 1st and her first Sunday to celebrate and worship will be August 3rd. She will come in for a "Meet the New Rector" cookout on May 29th. This will be held in Thatcher Hall and begin at 6:00. All members and friends of Grace Church are invited. Many Thanks to the Search Committee and all other who worked so diligently to find a rector for Grace Church. Thanks Be To God.
